Information Collection and Use

This Privacy Policy describes the information Possible Financial Inc. dba. Possible Finance (“Possible”, “we”, “our”, “us”) collects about you and how we use that information. This policy applies to information we collect when you register for Possible, access or use our website, mobile applications, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”), or when you otherwise interact with us. All personal information collected from you while you use our app, including information collected via third party partners app or website and shared with Possible will also be covered under this Privacy Policy. While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your email address, name, phone number, postal address, social security number, bank account information, third party credentials, passwords, usernames, account numbers, and other account information for third party sites, all of which will be called “Personal Information.” The following Privacy Policy summarizes the various ways we collect and use Personal Information and other information about you and your computer, mobile or other device when you access, visit and/or use the Services. The Financial Privacy Notice summarizes the way that we treat personally identifiable information about you that you provide us if you obtain a financial product or service from us.

The Ways We Collect Information

Information You Provide: The Service generally collects Personal Information with your specific knowledge and consent. For instance, when you create an account to access, visit and/or use the Service, you may be asked to provide a password, user ID, your name, telephone number(s), email and/or street address, and other personally identifiable information. Other information such as your age, gender, an avatar, and the number for your mobile or other device may also be requested. In addition, you may be asked to send us similar information via email, SMS, MMS, or other technologies.

Information from Third-Party Sites: In order to display information to you or to fulfill your requests for certain products and services through a Service, we may collect, on your behalf, your account and other Personal Information from Third-Party Sites that you register under your account via the Service. We may also collect information about you from mailing list providers, publicly available sources, identification verification services and other third parties. Possible uses Plaid Inc (“Plaid”), Yodlee and SynapseFi, Inc. to gather your bank account and other financial data from financial institutions. By using our Service, you grant Possible, Plaid, Yodlee and SynapseFi the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from the relevant financial institution. You understand and agree that we may use Plaid, Yodlee and SynapseFi to access your bank account and other financial information as long as you are registered with our Service and your connection(s) with these companies are still active to evaluate you for future credit options with us. You understand and agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid, Yodlee and SynapseFi in accordance with the Plaid’s, Yodlee’s and SynapseFi’s privacy policy. Possible does not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of third parties.

If you choose to access, visit and/or use any third party social networking service(s) that may be integrated with or linked to the Service, we may receive Personal Information and other information about you and your computer, mobile or other device that you have made available to those services, including information about your contacts on those services. For example, some social networking services allow you to push content from our Service to your contacts or to pull information about your contacts so you can connect with them on or through our Service. Some social networking services also will facilitate your registration for our Service or enhance or personalize your experience on our Service. Your decision to use a social networking service in connection with our Service is voluntary and should understand the information third party social networking services may make available to our Service. You should review those services’ privacy policies. We reserve the right to use, transfer, assign, sell, share, and provide access to all Personal Information and other information about you and your computer, mobile or other device that we receive through third-party social networking services in the same ways described in this Privacy Policy as all of your other information.

Information Collected by Cookies and Web Beacons: We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies to your computer or mobile device. Cookies are small data files that are stored on your hard drive or in device memory by a website. Among other things, cookies support the integrity of our registration process, retain your preferences and account settings, and help evaluate and compile aggregated statistics about user activity. We may also collect information using web beacons. Web beacons are electronic images that may be used in our Services or emails. We may use web beacons to deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage, and determine whether an email has been opened and acted upon. When you use the mobile app, we may collect the unique device identifier assigned to that device by phone makers, carriers, or makers of the operating system (the “Device ID”). Device IDs allow app developers, and others to uniquely identify your device for purposes of storing application preferences and other data. If you do not want to allow the use of cookies or web beacons, your computer or mobile device may include an option that allows you to not accept these tracking technologies. If these are disabled, however, some portions of the Service may not function properly. 

Log Data: We may also collect information that your computer browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages you visit while using our Service, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, this Log Data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use and other statistics.

The Ways We Use Your Information

We may use the information you provide about yourself and about your Third-Party Sites to fulfill your requests for our products, programs, and Services, to respond to your inquiries about our Services, and to offer you other products, programs, or services that we believe may be of interest to you. We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Service, identifying and communicating with you, confirm your accounts, responding to your requests/inquiries, servicing your purchase orders, offering you pre-qualified products and improving our services. We use the Personal Information you provide to obtain credit scores and credit report information from credit reporting agencies, such as TransUnion and Clarity. We may obtain this information from credit reporting agencies with your consent or otherwise as the law allows. We may also use the account information you provide or that we collect from Third-Party Sites to confirm your accounts are valid and to access funds from your accounts in connection with fulfillment of the Services. We may use the information we collect from cookies and web beacons for any lawful business purpose, including without limitation to determine which of our messages have been opened by recipients so we can gauge the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, to track usage patterns, the movements of individual users, to help diagnose problems with our servers, to gather broad demographic information, to analyze trends, to conduct research, to record registration and personalization information, and to otherwise administer the Service.  

You understand that all  reports, results, and/or information or profiles created, compiled, analyzed and/or derived by Possible from your Personal Information submitted through the Service is our sole and exclusive property of us. We shall have the right to use, market and re-market any data without further obligation to you subject to any limitations imposed by applicable federal and/or state law. 

In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Service’s functionality. These third party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information. Possible does not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of third parties.

We reserve the right to use the information we collect about your computer and mobile or other device (including its geographic location), which may at times be able to identify you, for any lawful business purpose, including without limitation to help diagnose problems with our servers, to gather broad demographic information, analyze trends, track users’ movements around the Service, and to otherwise administer the Service. 

Location Information: We may use and store information about your location depending on the permissions you have set on your device. We use this information to provide features of our Service, to improve and to customize our Service. You can enable or disable location services when you use our Service at any time through your mobile device settings.

Marketing and Behavioral Remarketing: We may share your Personal Information with non-affiliated third parties for those parties to market to you as provided for in our Financial Privacy Notice

Possible Financial Inc. also uses remarketing services to advertise on third party web sites to you after you visited our Service. We, and our third party vendors, use cookies to inform, optimize and serve ads based on your past visits to our Service.

Service Providers: We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services, including payment services, and/or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. 

These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and can use the information shared in accordance with their own privacy policies. Possible does not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of third parties.

We use Plaid Technologies, Inc. (“Plaid”) and Yodlee (“Yodlee”) to gather End User data from financial institutions. By using our service, you grant us, Plaid and Yodlee the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from the relevant financial institution. You understand and agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid or Yodlee in accordance with the Plaid and/or Yodlee privacy policy.

Communications: We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications by contacting us.

Compliance With Laws: We will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Service.

Business Transaction: If Possible Financial Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Information may be transferred as a business asset. In such cases, we will provide notice before your Personal Information is transferred and/or becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Do Not Track Disclosure

We do not support Do Not Track (“DNT”). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.

You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser. Please note that enable Do Not Track may disable cookies which may affect your browsing experience and may limit your use of certain parts of the Service, including personalized or customized features we may provide.

Please be advised that we may transfer your information to and from any state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction, and process it in the United States or elsewhere.

Notice for California Residents

Your California Privacy Rights: California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our customers who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the California Privacy Rights requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.

Children’s Privacy

Only persons age 18 or older have permission to access our Service. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your Children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child under age 18 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of October 25, 2019 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
