Credit Corner, our financial literacy video series hosted by Chief Credit Officer Ellen Falbo, was nominated for a Webby Award, one of the most recognized awards in digital media. Recognized as one of the best in the Corporate Social Responsibility category, Credit Corner placed in the top 11% of more than 13,000 entries. (Source: Webby Awards)
We're proud. But more than that, we're grateful. This recognition isn't really about us. It's about the questions that made Credit Corner necessary in the first place.
The questions that started it all
Credit Corner started with a question we asked our community: What do you actually want to know about credit? As the series grew over the years, so did the responses. Just last year alone, we got over 300 video responses, including: Why is my credit score so low? Does carrying a balance actually help? What does "credit invisible" even mean?
That's why we made Credit Corner.
Each episode covers how credit actually works, in plain language, without the judgment or one-size-fits-all information that often passes for financial education. Ellen tackles the myths that cost people money (no, carrying a credit card balance doesn't help your credit history—it just costs you more). She breaks down the fine print. And she reminds people that a low credit score isn't a life sentence. As she puts it: a credit score is just a number, not a reflection of your worth.
Why understanding credit matters
Possible was built around a simple belief: that borrowing should make your financial life better, not harder. That’s why we built a different kind of loan with no late fees, transparent terms and payments that build your credit history. But we’ve always known better loans aren’t enough. True financial health means understanding the system you’re navigating. Credit Corner is the other half of that mission.
Whether you're starting your credit journey from scratch, rebuilding after a setback or making smarter decisions with the credit you already have, Credit Corner meets you where you are.
That philosophy runs through everything we do. Possible Loan payments are reported to credit bureaus, helping you build credit history with every on-time payment. We helped reform payday loan laws in four states to better protect borrowers. We're a Public Benefit Corporation, which means your financial health is built into how we operate, not just what we say.
Thank you to the people who made this
A Webby nomination doesn't happen without people who care deeply about the work. To everyone who researched, wrote, filmed, edited and brought Credit Corner to life—thank you. To Ellen, for showing up every episode with valuable information and zero condescension—thank you. And to hundreds of Possible members, whose questions shaped the series from day one: this one's for you.
We'll see you at the 30th Annual Webby Awards on May 11 in New York City.
