Rejected Applications
Summary
Think all lending apps are the same? Think again.
In this episode, Possible CEO and co-founder Tony Huang takes on the internet’s hottest takes, harshest critiques and biggest misconceptions about borrowing with Possible. From email verification complaints to approval misunderstandings, he breaks it down—honestly and openly.
Tony addresses real customer comments, including why some applications get approved for less than requested, how data is protected and why Possible doesn’t profit from referrals or reselling your information. Whether it’s confusion around verification or questions about fairness, Tony’s here to clear the air—and explain the "why" behind what we do.
It’s credit myth-busting from the source.

You know what's bullsh*t when 95% of comments are saying good things. My name is Tony Huang. I'm the co-founder and CEO of Possible Finance.
"LIES. Worst of them all. A scam. They find reasons not to approve you. They're probably getting some sort of fee for the number of applicants they receive." Said Someone@01
Trust us. We're trying to find ways to improve as many customers as we can here at Possible. We don't make money from selling our customers' data, and we've never referred our customer to any other lender in the past to just to make money. We are first-party lender, so you either get approved by Possible, or your information stays safe with us and we hope to work with you in the future. We're trying to approve any customers that we can, and it actually costs us money to receive applications when we can't approve them.
”For the name of the app to be ‘Possible,’ it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to get past the email verification part,” said Kimberly _ricki.
Well, Kimberly, we verify email and phone number to make sure we're protecting your personal information, but sorry that you experienced some issues. It's usually pretty straightforward to get your email to be verified. I have heard of some rare instances where our email ends up in the spam folder, so maybe try that.
"I didn't get approved for the $200 I applied for, but my credit score is in the 400s, and that is more than reasonable. They didn't deny me completely, though. They lowered it to $125, and it was deposited into my debit card in five minutes. The payments aren't high either. Thank you for making it possible." From Nicholas.
Nicholas, sorry we couldn't give you the $200, but I'm glad we were able to get you $125 and hopefully you could get $200 the next time after you pay back the first one.
"You know it's bullsh*t when 95% of comments are saying good things. No company gets that many good comments from random people on Facebook," said Ethan.
Ethan, Possible Finance, it's so good that Ethan doesn't believe it's even real. That's a great review. Thanks Ethan.
